Our pleasure sensors are so overstimulated with business, addictions, sensory binging and even service that we feel full and numb. We are unaware of the ravenous hunger within us that is crying out for the real deal! Our intent is for this blog to help refresh those pleasure sensors. Our Father truly is enamored with the reality that He has created us to find our deepest pleasure in Him. He is excessive and offensive in the offer of intimacy and access to His heart!

It is difficult to pinpoint what so radically altered our life, our obsession and our approach to the Father's heart. We have explained that it started with the revelation of the Gospel beyond salvation, or realizing our sonship, or awakening to our inheritance. Other times we have explained that it is the access to the Father?s heart that Jesus blew the doors open to, or the private worship with Him alone that gave us a taste of intimacy that left us wildly hungry for more. At the same time I am convinced that our deep frustration drove us to the more he has for us. Frustration with powerless Christianity, the dissatisfaction that Christians really are not that different from anyone else, and the constant disappointment that my prayers continually seemed to be no more powerful than good intentions. I realize walking with God is a journey and a process; but, in the past three years our reality has changed - living in His presence so consistently it has become visible, hearing His voice relentlessly and watching our prayers heal, transform and even raise the dead. All of this has made us feel that our previous 20 years of knowing Him was like knowing someone through email, rarely having touched or felt each other deeply, settling for an idea of simple relationship more than the overwhelming reality of two lovers being love drunk in each others arms! Sounds great! But how is that overwhelming reality realized today? That is what this blog is about...
